Farrah Gray, an American celebrity entrepreneur, syndicated columnist, best-selling author, and motivational speaker, is CEO of Farrah Gray Publishing. Farrah Gray, unlike most American kids, spent his early years in acute poverty and began working at the age of six. His first job was selling home-made body lotion and hand-painted rock bookends. Life wasn’t easy and Farrah would walk several miles visiting door-to-door in his Chicago neighborhood to make ends meet and take care of his ailing mother. He was also featured in the Famous Black Entrepreneurs list. Farrah has been frequently invited on radio channels; and has been written about in reputed newspapers and magazines such as the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, “O” The Oprah Magazine, and the New York Post. What would be your state of your mind if you didn’t have arms?

 I have come to terms with this reality;

“Necessity is TRULY the mother of ALL invention”.

When one finds himself or herself in a particular situation or circumstance where certain things are necessary for them to SURVIVE then they have no choice but to ADAPT and CREATE.

Such is the case with my last two guests on “Be All You Can Be” my Popular Radio Show on Beat FM every Saturday at 9:30AM.Last week I had Adenike Oyetunde (An OAP who lost her limb a few years ago after she was 20) and two weeks before her, I had Cobhams Asuquo (The Bling Legend and Music writer and Producer).Hmmmm if you haven’t gotten his new album titled for you, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

These guys live the ESSENCE of what I’m trying to share here that “NOTHING is imPOSSIBLE and EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE if only you can dream, believe and take responsibility plus requisite and consistent action”

For example, Cobhams had to develop his other senses to normally move around and do things by and for himself because he is blind. The kinds of things these two people do even with their seeming physical limitations will blow your mind – Meaning that so can you if you had the need to and you had no choice.

But my questions for you are as follows:

“What’s your excuse for being mediocre and accepting what life throws at you”?

“Why are you holding yourself back from being all you can be or living the life that you can live”?

UNFORTUNATELY at your age NOBODY else can be blamed for where you are and why your life seems messed up but YOU.You have to live your life for yourself and stop being dependent on others.

In order to live your life realistically, you need to think of the realistic steps you need to take to live that life to the fullest. YOU have to stop existing and start living the life of your dreams

To do this YOU have to dream big, it all starts from your mind, your dream has to happen in your soul and spirit and YOU have to actually see it happen with your inner being and believe it and then YOU have to create the means and work towards actualising the dream.

Yes YOU!!!!

Even though I can accept the fact that right now you’re down and even possibly out but guess what, there’s no way to go from that place but up. Again let me reiterate that “There’s no other way to go but up when you’re down”. He who is really down no longer fears a fall. When you’re down there are really ONLY two options. The first option is to remain where you are which really does you no good or the second option is to get up with all the life force left within you and revisit and pursue your dreams.

According to one of the greatest basket ballers of all time Michael Jordan, “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed”

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying”.

“You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them”.

“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it”.

“If you quit ONCE it becomes a habit. Never quit!!!”

“To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail”.

I believe that “The key to SUCCESS is to wire your mind to think positively”.

“You can actually Create your life and live it out. Creating your world is dependent a lot on internal and external factors”.

Your environment is very key. Your nurture becomes your nature.

So being in a positive environment and constantly listening to positive affirmations; Thinking positive thoughts; Encouraging only positive emotions are ALL important for creating a bright future. Living your life with the mentality of “I can do it”, is a master key to achieving your dreams. Also, when you believe and try to do certain things and you see yourself progress then you will eventually figure out a way to work it to the end and even get others to help you.

“Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion”- Micheal Jordan. You should always have the “never say never” and “never give up” spirit. You need to learn the importance of “BEING”. There is Power of DOING to BE. You are a spirit being with a mind living in an earth suit or capsule (Your body). This means that we are 3 in 1 BEING or DOING to BE is about Living out of your spirit and soul such that these dominate your existence – That is the Secret of Consistent Success; Fulfillment and Satisfaction.

Some people however allow their physical being to dominate their spirit and soul being, this is living way under capacity, living with disadvantages and limitations. Your sprit and soul are your most dominant, indomitable and creative forces and you should know them, learn them and take FULL ADVANTAGE of and LEVERAGE on them I.e. you should live from There as a spirit-being. However a human-being (I.e. Someone living out of his or her physical essence) has limits and is forced to accept and live within their physical limits hence certain doors will and can NEVER open up for them

So in summation there are three dimensions of existence:

1) The having dimension (Living for and being driven by worldly possessions)

2) The doing dimension (Living for and being driven by activities or busyness)

3) The being dimension (Living from, for and being driven by purpose)

Within these three dimensions are sliding doors; Between the having and the doing dimension there is a sliding door and between the doing and the being dimension there is another sliding door. The keys to these sliding doors are your perceptions and beliefs. A lot of human beings live from the having dimension in that they’re living just to acquire worldly possessions. This is the lowest of human existence where one is moved and led by his flesh, lust, greed, desires etc. The needs or wants at this lowest level of existence are never satisfied. Folks here will never be all they were created to be. Others are consumed by being busy and doing things either to feel important or relevant but deep down they know they are busy doing nothing of significance.

Be honest and truthful with yourself and locate where you’re operating from and slide open the door to the inner place, which is your “BEING”. The inner place that releases the essence of your existence. The inner place of purpose and personal power. Realizing that there’s more to your life than what you have or your daily activities and endeavours; Opening up your mind to see the vanity of living to have or do; Should open you up to NEW VISTAS in Life and Optimal Living, where ALL things are POSSIBLE for you. You can BE a co-creator with God for great and mighty things in your Life

Every designer, whether graphics, fashion, architectural dramatic or visual art, is concern with the out come of his concept, the designer is deeply engulfed in the creative process of bringing out beauty out of what seems to be ordinary. he makes use of his creative ingenuity to craft out something beautiful out of nothing. The designers thought from on set is to achieve great aesthetic, something that will "wow" the beholder. No designer will ever want his work to be a subject of ridicule.

If this is true of a human designer, how much more of God the great designer. His plan for all is artwork is to be beautiful inside - out, to be a master piece that will bring glory and praise to His name. That's why he revealed in His word in Jeremiah
"29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".

His intention for us is to live a life of influence and affluence,  he does not want us to be a subject of ridicule neither does he want us to be a reproach to His name, he wants to be proud of us at all time. This was clearly stated in His word in Romans  8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren".

There is no questions of whether God is responsible for your problem. God design your life for good and not for evil " God does not do evil neither does He tempt any man with evil - (James 1:13)

If your life does not reflect the designers thought, it is your duty to realign yourself to fit into His plan, don't justify your mistakes and failure, rise up and realign. You are created to reign, to live on the top, your live is design for upward progress and not downward movement. If things are not working, don't just sit down and watch. David Oyedepo said " what you don't want you don't watch". "And what you permit has the right to stay". You are not design for mediocrity so don't settle for it.

Take your rightful place by realigning with the designers thought and plan for your life. YOU WILL SUCCEED!

Someone said " success seems to be connected with action" anyone who dream of success must be willing to action. Smart work is the cure for hard life. The link between dreams and fulfillment  is "action", not time, because if dreams are left untouched, no amount of time will translate it to reality. It is action that brings fulfilment of dreams and not wishes. If you talk about a dream for hundred years and you do nothing about it, it will still remain a dream. No amount of prayer and fasting can bring a dream to pass without corresponding action.

It's by taking action that lives become better. Success Mandate began like child's play, no one ever thought it would make so much impact in people's lives. I can say categorically that this daily post has saved many from recession and depression. Many have discovered their hidden potential and many are already making passive income from their "once upon a time" fallow talent ( I know this from the feed backs I get). There is no time to waste

There is no time to waste

It is totally and absolutely erroneous to assume that things will change with time, without making conscious effort to change it. Things don't change by itself, it's people that change things with time. Time is a convertible resources, what you put into time is what it gives back to you. Time is the separator between child - hood and adult - hood. Between success and failure, between the skilful and the unskilled. Any dream is attainable and any goal is achievable as long as there is still time. What you need first is time and not money to make your dreams come through.

The good news is that we all have time. The same 24hours is allotted to every one. What have you been doing with it? You can absolutely and totally transform your life by making a wise use of time. It takes five years to become a lawyer, six years to become a Doctor, you can acquire new skills in six months. You can branch out into a whole new profession and operate under a new horizon in less than twelve months. ITS TIME YOU WAKE UP! and make the most use of your time. Money is not a barrier if you truly open your mind. I have proved it time without number. I have achieved quite a lot without having to pay directly for it. I have also help many to realize that they can achieve a lot without allowing lack of money to stand in their way. You too can do the same.

Everything that God creates, moves, the earth rotates, the time (clock) ticks, the sea waves, the wind blows. Isn't it time learnt from nature.

Everything God created are constantly on motion so why aren't you?

Our lives will only align with God's intent and as well find fulfilment if we are constantly on the move, God didn't want His creature to be stagnant, so if you are, you are working contrary to God's original plan for man.

The key to success is action, someone said "your words means nothing when your action says the exact opposite". Here is the word of William Sprague "do not wait for the iron to be hot before you strike, but make it hot by striking". Until you start, you don't know what you can accomplish. That dream that you considered little, holds the key to your next level, Don't despise it.

There were so many reasons why we shouldn't have started Success Mandate, but against all odds, we started.

*The time was not right yet we started

*We weren't sure if it would touch lives yet we started.

*People castigate and criticized, yet we started.

*Until we started, accolades, encomium, appreciation and feed backs didn't come.

*Until we started, we didn't know that respected people could copy our write-up word for words, remove our details, post it on their walls and claim ownership.

*Until we started, collaboration, partnership and invitation never showed up

*Until we started, we didn't know it could attract financial rewards.

What is it that you have been afraid to start all this while, enough of the procrastination and get started. Until you make the first move, nothing will move.

Mohandas K.Gandhi said "You may never know what result will come from your action, but if you don't start, there will be no result". Sooo, start!!!

Gods desire for every believer is to live a life of flourishing, we see that from the above scripture. Even though the Bible said "the needy shall always be among us" that is not to say that He desire us to be poor, and besides what God meant is not that one person will forever be a needy but a needy today should flourish tomorrow. So based on this, you have no reasonable reason to justify failure. And you should reject an detest it with every breath in you. Success is our watch word and flourishing is our birth right. God has marked us for success in all our endeavour in 2017. What that means is that there will be no abandon project for anyone in 2017, what ever we start will be concluded and any project that require more than a year will progress considerable and will be concluded in due time.

To this effect, we will be encouraging ourselves from time to time by putting up "success mandate" seminar to rob mind and prepare and fortify ourselves for what ever challenges we might be facing along the line.

Also, 2016 still has so much to deliver, what ever is it that we still expect 2016 to deliver will not be denied us in Jesus name. However, our prayer focus at this time should be on 2017 while all that is required of us for 2016 is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has the capacity to deliver the balance of out blessing for 2016 and usher us honourably into 2017.

I wish you a blissful Christmas and a flourishing new year.

Don't be deceived by feelings

If you work only on the days that you feel link, you have sign up for failure.

Feelings are not the best way to judge the outcome of an event, because most times Feelings are subject to internal and external circumstances. God told the children of..... Israel..... That they will not see rain neither will they see wind yet the valley shall be filled with water.
If I may ask, are there no time that you don't feel like going to work? Because you are not feeling like you should go? Yet you still go to work because you must, else your employer will fire you.

Same applies to success. Most people use feeling to dogde responsibility. Wether you feel like or not, just keep making progress and you will discover that feeling is nothing but a deceiver. It has robbed many of their glorious destiny.

Feelings are nothing but mere emotions, which can be switched on or off at anytime depending on the situation and the circumstances. Be in control of your life by learning to regulate your feelings to suit your goal.

Sam Adeyemi said " you may not be able to control the wind, but you can determine the direction in which the wind will take you by setting your sail accordingly.

Feelings is the wind, your goal is the sail. Take control of your life by taking control of your feelings. YOU WILL SUCCEED!

David Oyedepo Jnr: Said "Those who thank God for everything, sees the hand of God in everything"

Thanking God for everything is not an option but a must, every life that must make progress must cultivate the act of Thanksgiving.

Edwin Percy explained that: "God is glorified, not by our groans, but by our thanksgivings." 

Thanksgiving is what makes the difference between the "have" and the "have not". Thanksgiving is the key to supernatural abundance. If a life of surplus is what you desire, then Thanksgiving is what you require.

No matter how tense the situation, a thanks giver will always, find his way. Thanksgiving is what brought perfection to the "one leper", it turns a young "lad's" breakfast into a meal for multitude.

Count your blessings and don't say your blessings don't count.
“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.” Oprah Winfrey

The best way to end the year is not to burden heaven with more prayer requests (Though Heaven can not be burdened), but to offer praise and Thanksgiving.

Don't bother about what you don't have, rather, thank God for what you do have.  Forget about the troubles of 2016 and focus on the blessings of 2017.

Don't forget that our best days are not behind us, but before us. 2017 is full of great promise, only Thanksgiving can convert them into reality.

May this new year be a glorious year for you as you cultivate the act of Thanksgiving. YOU WILL SUCCEED!

Welcome to your new beginning.

Everyday is a plus, everyday is a blessing, everyday gives us the opportunity to begin again. The Bible says, "this is the day that the Lord has made, I shall rejoice and be glad in it. 

Yesterday may have cost you tears and pain, but today certainly offers you joy. The Bible also says, troubles may last for a night but joy comes in the morning. Every new day begins with the " morning " morning symbolizes newness, youthfulness and strength. It also symbolize the beginning of a new beginning.

Someone said " every morning starts a new page in your story, be sure to make it a great one"
Whatever the troubles of yesterday, it is gone with yesterday, today is a fresh start take advantage of it.  2016 is gone with all its goodness and troubles, 2017 holds a lot of prospect. Ensure you grab it with both arms, don't let the troubles of yesterday Rob you of the joy in today.

There is nothing in the past to hold on to, but the future holds a million surprises. Look forward, for your best is still ahead of you, not behind you.

It has been said that failing to plan is planning to fail. A life that is void of plan will hardly make progress.

No builder will embark on a project without having a building plan.  Goals are the steering that gives direction to movements.

Tony Robbins said "setting goals is the first steps into turning the invisible into visible". Harvy Mackay said " a dream is a dream but a goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline. Habakkuk said " write the vision and make it plain so that he that reads may run. Until you write it down you can't run with it. Someone said the faintest pen is sharper than the sharpest memory.

Chances are that you will not forget it, if you write it down. Do not underestimate the power of goal setting, it is the key to timely success.

Achieving goals become difficult when it is sets unrealistically. A goal that will see the light of the day must be written with certain considerations in mind. For example don't say I want to become a lawyer next year when you are yet to gain admission. Goals must be:

S-imple
M-easurable
A-chievable
R-ealistic
T-ime bond

A dream without a goal is just a wish, and remember that if wishes were horses even beggers would ride. YOU WILL SUCCEED!
